MeaningOption
Specifies the partition specification from which the virtual
partition database has to be chosen.
NOTE: When a current parspec is examined with the
-Z option, the information provided will be what is stored
in the parspec. It should not be expected to be identical
to information gathered from the associated nPartition.
NOTE: The –N and –Z options are mutually exclusive.
-Z parspecname
Specifies the nPar to which the target vPar belongs. This
option is mandatory for a command invoked from OA.
-N nparidentstr
If the command is invoked from the partition, it will
remove the vPar in that nPar. If the –n option is not
specified. nparidentstr can be specified as an nPar
name or nPar number.
Displays the revisions of partition management tools.-r
• Access level/Bay level:
OA Administrator, OA Operator
• Restriction:
You must be connected to the monarch OA.
• Example:
vparstatus
Note: No action specified. Default behavior is to display all.
