30 Legacy console commands
These commands are carried forward from previous systems to provide additional functionality for
users. These commands function for both nPartitions and virtual partitions.
BO
Command:
bo [<nPar #>]
Description:
Enables users to power on nPartitions.
If <nPar #> is specified, this command is equivalent to “POWERON PARTITION” (page 139),
however the OVERRIDE argument is not accepted.
Access level/Bay level:
OA Administrator, OA Operator
Restrictions:
You must be connected to the monarch OA to perform this command.
CL
Command:
cl [<nPar #>]
Description:
Displays the Console Log viewer.
If <nPar #> is specified, then this command is equivalent to “SHOW PARTITION
CONSOLELOG” (page 153).
Access level/Bay level:
OA Administrator, OA Operator
Restrictions:
You must be connected to the monarch OA to perform this command.
CO
Command:
co [<nPar #>]
Description:
Accesses the nPartition text console.
If <nPar #> is specified, then this command is equivalent to “CONNECT PARTITION”
(page 153).
Access level/Bay level:
OA Administrator, OA Operator
Restrictions:
You must be connected to the monarch OA to perform this command.
