Configuring basic MLD snooping functions
Before you configure basic MLD snooping functions, complete the following tasks:
• Configure the corresponding VLANs.
• Determine the MLD snooping version.
• Determine the MLD last listener query interval.
• Determine the maximum number of MLD snooping forwarding entries.
Enabling MLD snooping
When you enable MLD snooping, follow these guidelines:
• You must enable MLD snooping globally before you can enable it for a VLAN.
• MLD snooping for a VLAN works only on the member ports in that VLAN.
You can enable MLD snooping for a VLAN in MLD-snooping view or in VLAN view. These configurations
have the same priority level.
