8. Configure the AC/DC Adapter for the extension cable plug type that is compatible with
the electrical outlet where it will be connected. Refer to Figure 15-42.
9. Refer to the Quick Installation Guide (in the box for the secondary touch monitor) for
instructions about how to correctly install the stand and connect the AC/DC Adapter,
IMPORTANT!
The AC/DC Adapter provides power to the secondary touch monitor and is required to be
plugged into its own power source. It is important that a power source is always available
when you select the location of the secondary touch monitor.
CAUTION!
The AC/DC Adapter is rated for an input voltage of 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Connection to a
voltage outside this range could result in catastrophic damage to the adapter and touch
monitor.

CAUTION!
Make sure that the secondary touch monitor is in an area free of vibration to prevent
premature failure of the electronic components in the unit. Make sure that the
secondary touch monitor is in an area free of debris and liquids and that it is placed on
a flat, level surface to prevent the unit from movement or falling when in use.
