■ Volume setting
➥ Rotate [AF] control clockwise to increase the
audio output level, counterclockwise to decrease it.

■ Meter Display selection
The transceiver has 6 transmit meter functions for
your convenience.
➥ Push [METER] (MF2) several times to select the
desired meter.
Displays the RF output power in %
(percent).
Displays the SWR on the
transmission line.
Displays the ALC level. When the
meter movement shows the input
signal level exceeds the allowable
level, the ALC limits the RF power. In
such cases, reduce the [MIC GAIN]
control.
Displays the compression level when
the speech compressor is in use.
Displays the drain current of the final
amplifier MOSFETs.
Displays the drain terminal voltage of
the final amplifier MOSFETs.
D Multi-function digital meter
The IC-7600 can display the multi-function digital
meter on the LCD display. This meter displays all
transmit parameters simultaneously.
q Hold down [METER] (MF2) for 1 second to turn the
multi-function digital meter ON.
w Push [P-HOLD] (F-1) to toggle the peak level hold
function ON.
• “ P-HOLD” appears on the window title when the peak
level hold function is ON.
e Hold down [METER] (MF2) for 1 second, or push
[EXIT/SET] to turn the multi-function digital meter
OFF.
