Useful Information
Before Service Inquiry
This appendix contains before service inquiry and troubleshooting
information that will help you use your phone.
Check the following checkpoints before contact the customer ser-
vice center. If you have question or need assistance, please consult
your local service center.
Note: For the best care of your phone, only authorized personnel
should service your phone. Failure to do so may be dangerous and
void your warranty.
The phone does not work at all.
Check if the travel adaptor for the charger is properly connected to
the electrical outlet. (Refer to "To install the charger" on page 15.)
Check if the phones battery is suciently charged referring to bat-
tery charge level icon on the screen in standby mode.
If the phone does not work after power on, install the battery again
and then restart your phone. (Refer to "Installing and Removing
the Battery" on page 13.)
Press and hold
for three seconds to turn on the phone. Check
if the opening message is displayed and then Antenna
and RSSI
level
icon are displayed on the screen.
The Seamless Handover does not work in the same net-
work conguration.
Make sure that the "SystemDefault" prole is selected with a check
mark
from Menu > Settings > Prole Setting. Only system
default prole can be supported seamless handover between the
same SSID in the dierent access point.
