Riving knife lateral stability test
With the riving knife securely tightened in position to suit
the maximum diameter saw blade for which the machine
is designed, a horizontal load of 30 N is applied to the tip
as shown in Figure E.1. The maximum deflection d shall
not exceed 8 mm.

Minimum dimensions of the machine table, extension
table and insert
The minimum dimensions of the machine table, extension
table and table insert of circular saw benches (see
Figures F.1) shall be in accordance with the requirements
of Table F.1.
