2-9 DIGITAL ALARM COMMUNICATOR TRANSMITTER (DACT) WIRING
For communication to a central monitoring station, connect one or two phone lines to the phone
jack connectors located on the DACT Card. The connections are Loop Start Public Switched
Telephone Network connections which meet the specifications of UL864 and FCC Part 68. Refer
to Section 2-7.2, Inserting and Securing an Expansion Card for instructions on how to install the
DACT Card.
Refer to the wiring diagram shown below (Figure 2-34) for DACT Card connections.
