Paper Selection
Select the cassette or multi-purpose tray that contains the required paper size.
Select from [1] (Cassette 1) to [5] (Cassette 5) to use the paper contained in that cassette.
Before selecting [MP Tray], you need to select [MP Tray Set.] and specify the paper size and media type. The available
paper sizes and media types are shown in the table below.
NOTE
Specify in advance the size and type of the paper loaded in the cassette (refer to Cassette 1 (to 5) Set. (Cassette 1 (to 5)
Settings) on page 8-22 and MP Tray Set. (MP Tray Settings) on page 8-22).
Cassettes 2 to 5 are displayed when the optional paper feeder is installed.

Select from the standard sizes and custom size.
Size Entry
Set the sizes of [Y] (vertical).
Metric: 148 to 356 mm (in 1 mm increments)
Inch: 5.83 to 14.02" (in 0.01" increments)
Enter the size not included in the standard size.

Use the numeric keys or press the [
] or [
] key
to set the sizes of [Y] (vertical) and press the [
OK
]
key.
Set the sizes of [X] (horizontal) as well.

Set the sizes of [X] (horizontal).
Metric: 70 to 216 mm (in 1 mm increments)
Inch: 2.76 to 8.50" (in 0.01" increments)

Select the media type.
Displayed after [Standard Size] or [Size Entry] is
set in [MP Tray Set.].
NOTE
You can conveniently select in advance the size and type of paper that will be used often and set them as default
(refer to MP Tray Set. (MP Tray Settings) on page 8-22
).
If the specified size of paper is not loaded in the paper source cassette or multi purpose tray, a confirmation screen
appears. Load the required paper in the multi purpose tray and press [Continue] to start copying.
