Enabling User Authentication for Scan to Email (LDAP)

Click the [User Management] tab and the [Authentication] menu.
The login page is displayed.

Enter the administrator password and click [Login].
The Authentication page is displayed.

Click [User Authentication for Scan to Email].
The User Authentication for Scan to Email page opens.

Select [LDAP] in the [Method] box and click [Next].
This equipment can set authentication for Scan to Email, but cannot set authentication for Internet Fax
transmission. If you do not want to allow users to perform the Internet Fax transmission, select the [Internet
Fax Not Allowed] check box. When you select this box, users can no longer perform Internet Fax
transmissions.
When you want to disable the User Authentication for Scan to Email, select [Disable] in the [Method] and
click [Next].
