2.6 Explanation of the operation instructions
In this manual the tables with operation instructions are used. These
instruction tables must be read from left to right and from top to bottom. The
tables have three columns:
• the left column contains:
• a step number when the sequence of instructions must be obeyed or
• a bullet point if the sequence is arbitrary
• the middle column contains a description and
• the right column may contain the symbols of the operation button or
switch to be used.
Unless stated otherwise the symbol is valid for the button or switch of
control panel. In respect to the symbols the following notations are used
to explain more details about the action:
Buttons:
•
1x
press this button once.
•
hold
press this button and hold it pressed.
Switches:
•
up
switch the switch upwards and hold to activate
the function.
•
down
switch the switch downwards and hold to activate
the function.
•
release
put the switch in the middle position to stop the
function
The seconds mentioned below the button/switch indicates to hold the
selected function for the given time period.
A double horizontal line indicates the end of an instruction. See the example.
