4.2 Adjust the film holder for other film roll sizes
Procedure
Adjust the position of the film holder:
1. Remove the two bolts from the film holder.
2. Move the film holder to the applicable position.
• Position A is used for 750 mm film rolls.
• Position B is used for 500 mm film rolls.
3. Install the two bolts.
4. Adjust the film holder in position, so the center of the mounting holes
are in the center of the bale.
5. Make sure the film holder is tight.
Change the gearwheel:
1. Remove the cover of the gearwheel housing.
2. Loosen the bolt of the chain tension device to release the chain
tension. Do not completely remove it.
3. Install the correct gearwheel and chain in according to the film width:
• 750 mm film roll, gearwheel with 28 sprockets.
• 500 mm film roll, gearwheels with 45 sprockets and chain from the
extension kit (Figure 3, page 1‑3).
4. Adjust the tension on the chain with the chain tension device and
tighten it in position.
5. Install the cover on the gearwheel housing.
