3.8 Process overview
This section describes the Attis behaviour in automatic mode. The operator
can interact with several functions during wrapping.
3.8..1 Loading
The operator operates the loading arm to the ground position and drives to
the bale. The bale have to be loaded in the loading arm till the end of the
load arm. Then the operator operates the loading switch to load the bale
from the loading arm on the wrapping table. When the bale is on the
wrapping table the loading arm move downward to secure the wrapping
process.
3.8..2 Wrapping
The wrapping table slowly rotates at startup, then rotates fast till the target
rotations are almost reached. During the second rotation, the film cutter will
automatically open to release the film. During the last rotation the wrapping
table starts to rotate slow and stops at the unloading position.
The wrapping process can be interrupted by the following events:
• A film break,
• An empty film roll,
• The maximum rotation speed.
When the wrapping process is stopped and the interrupting is solved, the
operator can resume or restart the wrapping process.
When wrapping is finished the unloading process will start.
3.8..3 Unloading
The wrapping table will rise, when the wrapping table is in position, the film
cutter will close to cut the film. Then the bale will be lowered towards the
ground. If the bale end-tipper is applicable, the bale is being tipped. After the
bale is unloaded or tipped, the wrapping table will come to the horizontal
position. Thereafter the wrapping table rotates automatically to the loading
position. The current selected field bale counter and the grand total counter
will increase by 1.
