3.3 Connect to the tractor
Preparations
•
Adjust the height of drawbar pull eye. (Figure 24, page 4‑
1)
•
Prepare the installation of the E-link Basic manual controller
in the tractor cabine:
a. Install the E-Link Basic manual controller in the tractor.
If applicable, use the suction cup (page 1‑5).
b. Connect the power supply cable of the E-Link Basic
manual controller to a suitable 12V connector in the
tractor.
If the length is not appropriate use the battery cable
set (page 1‑7).
c. Switch off the E-link Basic manual controller
Always switch off the tractor engine and remove the ignition key before
you leave the tractor cab.
Procedure
1. Reverse the tractor to the Attis, so the tractor drawbar and the Attis
pull eye are aligned.
2. Depressurise the tractor hydraulic system.
3. Install the pin of the coupling system through the pull eye and lock it to
connect the Attis behind the tractor.
4. Connect the safety towing chain (Figure 4, page 1‑4) to the towed
vehicle and towing vehicle, if required.
The maximum pressure of the tractor hydraulic system must not be
more than 21.0 MPa (210 bar).
5. Remove the dust caps from the two hydraulic hoses.
6. Connect the 3/8" hydraulic hose to a single-acting hydraulic valve on
the tractor.
7. Connect the 1/2" hydraulic hose to a pressureless connection of the
tractor.
8. Connect the lighting electrical cable to the correct socket on the
tractor.
Make sure all the lights on the Attis operate correctly.
9. Connect the connector of junction box electrical cable to the E-Link
Basic manual controller installed in the tractor.
10. Move the parking jack to the highest position and lock it.
11. Remove the wheel wedges behind the transport wheels and attach
them to the support.
