4.6.1 Determine the number of wraps
Procedure
1. Set the machine in manual mode.

Verify if the machine is set in manual mode.
2. Load a bale on the loading arm
3. Load the bale on the wrapping table in manual mode.

4. Lower the loading arm.

Count the number of rotations of the wrapping table (AA) to
completely cover the bale in film once.
Note:
5. Start wrapping.
down
6. Calculate the number of rotations to wrap the bale.
(AA + 1) x BB = YY rotations
• AA = the number of rotations to wrap the bale once.
• BB = the number of layers multiply the overlap percentage.
• YY = the total rotations to wrap the bale.
Example:
If it takes 7 rotations to cover the bale completely in film, you
will need 16 rotations to wrap the bale correctly with 4 film
layers and 50% film overlap
(7 + 1) x 2 = 16 rotations
Note:
Finish the wrapping process till the bale has the correct
number of layers.
7. Open the film clamp if the film clamp is not open.
8. Move the wrapping table to the unloading position.
up
9. Move the wrapping table towards the top position, till the film
is inside the filmcutter, but the bale has not been unloaded
yet.
