metal, which might result in spattered metal, burns, or both.
Before you install the top cover, complete the following steps:
1. Read the following sections to ensure that you work safely.
•
“Safety” on page iii
• “Installation Guidelines” on page 37
2. Turn off the server. Disconnect the power cords and all external cables (see “Power off the server” on
page 16
).
3. Make sure all the removed components are installed, and all the disconnected cables inside the server
are reconnected.
