Linde H50D - Clean the Fuel Tank Ventilation Hose

Engine
¾ Unscrew 3 screws from the maintenance
cover (1) on the right side of the forklift truck.
¾ Remove the maintenance cover.

¾ Place a collection vessel under the fuel filter
(2).
¾ Clean the outside of the fuel filter.
¾ Unscrew the old filt
er and dispose of it in an
environmentally
friendly manner.
¾ Clean the sealing face of the filter top (4).
¾ Top up the new filter with clean fuel
¾ Lightly wet a new s
ealing ring (3) with fuel.
¾ Tighten the new filter (2) until the sealing
ring (3) touches the filter top (4).
¾ Fully tighten the filter by hand.
¾ Start the engin
e and check for leaks.
If necessary, tighten the filter further by hand.
¾ Attach the maintenance cover.
Clean the fuel tank ventilation hose
When operating the truck in dusty and dirty
conditions, the ventilation hose (1) to the fuel
tank can become blocked. It must therefore
be cleaned at regular intervals, depending on
how much it is used.
