WARNING
Never open the filler cap (2) when the
engine is hot. Risk of scalding!
Wait until the coolant has cooled
down.

¾ Check the coolant concentration at the
filling opening (1).
The frost protection should be sufficient for
temperatures down to -25°C. The mixture
ratio required here is 40% coolant additive and
60% drinking water.
Mixture ratio for lower temperatures:

If coolant additive level is too low:
¾ Open the bonnet.
¾ Place a collection container under the
coolant hose (5).
¾ Release clip (4) on the coolant hose.
¾ Remove the hose and drain off some of the
coolant.
¾ Attach the coolant hose again.
ENVIRONMENT NOTE
Dispose of removed coolant in an environ-
mentally friendly manner.
¾ Add coolant additive to the filling opening (1)
until the correct mixture ratio is achieved.
¾ Check the coolant level in the inspection
window (3).
¾ Fit filler cap (2) and turn to tighten.
