(17) Operating hours display
Indicates the operating hours
of the truck. This display
is evidence of the truck’s
operating time and of the
inspection and maintenance
work to be performed.
If a faulty display unit is
replaced, the operating hours
up to that point must be
recorded. Affix the data on an
embossed strip near the display
unit. There is also the option of
updating the new display unit at
a later time.

am = morning
pm = afternoon
The diagnostic program can be
used to reset the display to a
12-hour clock.

Always leave the ignition
switched on until the symbol
goes out.
Then repeat the start attempt.

- Lights up if the parking brake
is activated

next service" symbol
After the ignition has been
switched on, display field (17)
shows the operating hours
until the next service (counting
backwards).
Symbol (26) lights up. After
5 seconds, symbol (26) goes
out and display (17) switches
automatically to the truck’s
operating hours; the operating
hours symbol (16) flashes.
(27) Symbol for "Seat belt not
fastened"
