CNP Carry Bag for mobile use supplied with
theSuprasorb
®
CNP P3 is intended for single use per patient.
It should not be used for other patients but be disposed of once used.
The Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 is apump designed for stationary and mobile use for the medical
drainage of exudate during Suprasorb
®
CNP therapy. It is used for drainage in the low negative
pressure range and can be employed in both hospitals and practices, as well as when
transporting patients and in home care.
The Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 is rechargeable and easily portable. The Suprasorb
®
CNP P3
therapy unit operates on the internal rechargeable battery or the supplied power supply,
whichcan also be used to charge the battery.
The negative pressure is generated by amaintenance-free membrane pump with
anelectromechanical motor. Once turned on, the negative pressure pump generates
negativepressure in the tubing system and container to suction the exudate.
The exudate is routed away from the patient and collected in the container system.
Theintegrated overflow prevention system triggers the “System closed” alert and stops
thetherapy as soon as the container system is full.

CNP P3 must only be operated with the supplied container system.
The expected product service life of the Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 is 3 years.
2.3 Container system
The Suprasorb
®
CNP P3’s container system is composed of acontainer (250ml or 1,000ml)
and an exudate pouch, which is inserted in the container in the corresponding size (250ml or
1,000ml). The user has the choice of which container system to use depending on the wound
tobe treated and the amount of exudate.
