3.6 Fixing the Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 in the bed mount/universal mount
The device can be safely used both in the horizontal position and when mounted in the supplied
bed mount. There is also auniversal mount available for the device. The procedure for inserting
the device in the bed mount and the universal mount is the same.

1. Push the Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 into the bed
mount/universal mount from right to left.
When doing so, ensure that the side with
thescreen is facing you.
2. The therapy unit is inserted when the feet of
the device click into place in the recesses on
the bottom strut of the bed mount (see arrow
at bottom of diagram above for correct
positioning). For final fixation, move the green
lever on the top of the bed mount/universal
mount to the left.
3. The therapy unit can also be inserted in the bed mount/universal mount or removed from
thesame when the bed mount/universal mount is attached to the sides of the patient’s bed.
