8.3 Disposal
At the end of the product’s service life, the components of the device must be disposed
ofin accordance with the applicable regulations.
Ensure that all parts are clean and separate materials accordingly for recycling.
The housing material is labelled with amaterial symbol and can be completely recycled.
Decontaminate the device and container prior to disposal. For information on disposal
oftheaccessories (exudate pouch, drainage pad, deep drain, Y connector), please refer
tothe instructions for use supplied with the respective products.
In accordance with EU Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Directive (WEEE) and 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous
Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS II), the device must not be
disposed of as household waste.
The device and accessories can be disposed of via L&R or an authorised service partner.
Please observe any applicable national disposal regulations.
