8.3 Disposal
• At the end of the product’s service life, the components of the device must be disposed
ofin accordance with the applicable regulations.
• Ensure that all parts are clean and separate materials accordingly for recycling.
• The housing material is labelled with amaterial symbol and can be completely recycled.
• Decontaminate the device and container prior to disposal. For information on disposal
oftheaccessories (exudate pouch, drainage pad, deep drain, Y connector), please refer
tothe instructions for use supplied with the respective products.
• In accordance with EU Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Directive (WEEE) and 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous
Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS II), the device must not be
disposed of as household waste.
• The device and accessories can be disposed of via L&R or an authorised service partner.
• Please observe any applicable national disposal regulations.
