Table 4
Recommended safe distances between portable or mobile HF telecommunication devices and
the Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 therapy unit
The Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 therapy unit is intended for operation in an electromagnetic environment
as described below in which HF interference is controlled.
The customer or user of the Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 therapy unit can help avoid electromagnetic
interference by ensuring maintenance of the minimum distance between portable and mobile
HF telecommunication devices (transmitters) and the Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 – depending on
theoutput power of the communication device, as specified below.
Nominal capacity
of transmitter
Protective distance depending on transmitter frequency in m
150kHz to 80MHz
80MHz to 800MHz
800MHz to 2.5GHz
0.01 0.12 0.12 0.23
0.1 0.37 0.37 0.74
1 1.17 1.17 2.33
10 3.69 3.69 7.38
100 11.67 11.67 23.33
For transmitters with maximum nominal power not given in the table above, the recommended protective distance (d) in metres(m)
can be calculated using the formula in the respective column, where P is the transmitter’s maximum nominal power in watts (W)
inaccordance with the transmitter manufacturer’s specifications.
NOTE 1: The higher frequency range applies at 80MHz and 800MHz.
NOTE 2: These guidelines may not be applicable in all cases. The transmission of electromagnetic parameters is influenced by
theextent to which they are absorbed and reflected by buildings, objects and people.
