6. Remove the exudate pouch from the reusable
container. There are two handholds integrated
inthe exudate pouch (250 ml or 1,000 ml)
tofacilitate removal (see image). These allow
you topull theexudate pouch alittle out of
thecontainer before grasping by hand and
removing from thecontainer completely.
7. Dispose of the exudate pouch including the exudate pouch tube and tube clamp
inaccordance with the applicable regulations for household waste.
8. Then proceed as described in Section 3.3 and insert anew exudate pouch
inthereusable container.
9. Connect the exudate pouch tube of the new exudate pouch up to the wound drainage
system(see end of Section 3.3) and fix the container back in place on the unit.
10. Check whether the tube clamps are open so as to continue the therapy. Then restart
theSuprasorb
®
CNP P3 and continue the desired therapy.
3.5 Positioning the Suprasorb

PLEASE NOTE
The device should be placed horizontally.
The device must only be positioned vertically in the bed mount or
universalmount and in the carry bag.
The device should not be positioned above the wound, but rather at
thesameheight or below it.
The safest way to store the Suprasorb
®
CNP P3 is in ahorizontal position. In addition, it can be
attached to the sides of the bed using the bed mount (see Section 3.6) or the universal mount.
