Chapter 5: Connecting the Tractor to the Rotary Disc Pull-Type
Connecting the pull-type to the tractor involves connecting the hydraulic and electrical systems, and may also require
adjusting the length of the drawbar hitch.
5.1 Adjusting the Drawbar
When attaching the pull-type to a tractor with a drawbar type connection, the distance between the PTO shaft and the
hitch connection must be adjusted correctly.
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key before making adjustments to the machine.
1. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.


2. Adjust the tractor drawbar to meet the specifications listed
in Table 5.1, page 99.
3. Secure the tractor drawbar so the hitch pinhole is directly
below the driveline.
