2.5 DISASSEMBLING THE TELESCOPIC CYLINDER FROM THE NO. 5 BOOM
1. Take off both the left and right C-type retaining rings (snap rings) for the holes at the at rear end of the No.5 boom,
and pull out both the left and right telescopic cylinder No.5 trunnion pins.
2. Remove the metal fitting at the end of the contracting wire rope from the No.5 boom. At this time, hold down the
metal fitting at the end of the contracting wire rope with a spanner, loosen the M16 nut and remove it.
3. Pull out the telescopic cylinder, contracting wire rope and extending wire rope in their assembled state from the
No.5 boom, in such a way as not to drop the extending wire bracket.
Assembling
Perform assembling in the reverse order of disassembling.
CAUTION: During assembly, exercise care not to allow the extending and contracting wire ropes to cross each other
and be damaged within the boom.
