Try this:
Change your position or the posi-
tion of the antenna. Even a slight
change may be enough to allow the
receiver to get a stronger signal.
Not enough satellites are visible to
take a position fix: If operating in 2D,
there are fewer than 3 satellites; lf
operating in 3D, there are fewer than
4 satellites.
Try this:
1.
Make sure the antenna has a
clear view of the sky.
2.
If using an exterior antenna,
check the connections.
3.
Verify the initialization position
and time (see SETUP).
4.
Check Sat Status (AUX 3) to be
sure all satellites are set to
"ON"
5.
Check Satellite Schedule (AUX
4) to be sure enough satellites
are available at this time.
6.
If in 3D, try using 2D, or switch
to AUTO. In AUTO the unit
takes 3D fixes when 4 satellites
are available and 2D fixes when
only 3 satellites are available.
7.
If the unit has not been used for
more than a few minutes in the
past 9 months, press AUX 5 to
initiate SkySearch and collect a
new Almanac.
