3. Press F3.
The Prepositioning window appears.
4. Use the arrow keys to select the Prepositioning mode.
The possibilities are:
Direct
Starting point will be reached directly. Diagonally run.
X–Y
The marking pin is first prepositioned in the X direction and then in the Y direction.
Y–X
The marking pin is first prepositioned in the Y direction and then in the X direction.
1. Press Enter.
2. Press the ESC key.
The main menu appears.
The Prepositioning substitute has been inserted.
If prepositioning is activated, the marking pin moves to the beginning of the first line of text
without starting to mark. This gives the user the option to direct the marking pin to the place
where marking should begin.
Actual marking begins with the second start. ( Chapter “Marking”, page 124)
