- Immediately put on chemical safety gloves and
wipe up the leaked battery fluid with a piece of
absorbent cloth. Breathe at the greatest possible
distance from the leaked fluid.
- If your skin comes into contact with the battery
contents: Wash the skin thoroughly with soap and
water.
- In the event of eye contact: Immediately rinse the
eyes thoroughly with water. Repeat this process for
15 minutes and then ask a doctor.
- Upon contact with clothing: Remove the clothes,
and wash, clean or dispose of them.
- If battery fluid is leaking, ventilate the room
immediately, or go outside into fresh air.
- The fire prevention regulations apply in the event of
a fire.
