1.1 Description of the FlyMarker
®
mini handheld CNC marking system
The FlyMarker
®
mini hand-held marking system makes the marking of big and unmovable work
pieces very easy. There is no electrical or compressed air line to interfere with work. Whether in
continuous use, in production or for emergencies when production fails, the new FlyMarker
®
mini marks your components quickly and reliably right on site. Almost any material can be
marked — from plastic all the way to hardened steel.
100% mobile – no annoying cable
A high-performance battery makes the FlyMarker
®
mini completely mobile — anywhere on the
work site. The handheld marking system’s low weight and compact, ergonomic design allow
easy, flexible marking of hard-to-reach and immovable work pieces.
Permanent, forgery-proof marking
The especially developed solenoid of the FlyMarker
®
mini 120/45 enables to mark precisely.
Marking force can be adjusted manually based on the material and the customer’s
requirements. For example, if a marking must still be visible after subsequent painting, a
specific marking depth is absolutely necessary.
Automatic height tolerance compensation
The marking system’s automatic height tolerance compensation allows consistently good, deep
marking with the same marking force on uneven components or surfaces.
Marking data matrix codes
If a lot of information has to be marked in a very small space, a data matrix code can be used.
Its plain text can be entered through the keyboard or transmitted through a USB port.
High-quality marking through a stable, durable mechanism
The premium flatbed guides in the X and Y directions are double routed and make FlyMarker
®
mini mechanism very stable and durable. Working with other high-quality components from
MARKATOR
®
, this makes for very precise marking that meets the highest standards.
Self-explanatory software
The device’s easy-to-use software is clearly structured and self-explanatory. Many helpful
substitutes, such as time, date and incrimination come standard. Before marking, the software’s
practical preview function allows created marking files to be visualized over an integrated color
LCD display.
Data management
FlyMarker
®
mini’s internal memory can hold several hundred marking files, fonts and logos that
the user can manage. The device’s USB ports allow fast backup of marking data. Using optional
PC software, marking files can easily be created on a computer and transferred to the device.
