DETECTED CONDITION POSSIBLE CAUSE
To read the flash code, with the EFI diagnostic
instrument
NOTE :
Note that atmospheric pressure varies depending on
weather conditions as well as altitude.
Take that into consideration when inspecting voltage
●
Clogged vacuum passage between throttle body
And MAP & IAT Sensor.
●
Air being drawn from vacuum passage between
throttle body and MAP & IAT Sensor.
●
MAP & IAT Sensor circuit open or shorted to ground.
●
MAP & IAT sensor malfunction.
●
ECU malfunction.
INSPECTION
Step 1
1)
Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position.
2)
Check the MAP & IAT Sensor coupler for ①
loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then measure the MAP & IAT Sensor
input voltage.
3)
Disconnect the
MAP & IAT Sensor
coupler .①
4)
Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position.
5)
Measure the input voltage at the O/B wire and
ground.
If OK, then measure the input voltage at the O/B
wire and G/Bl wire.
