MAP & IAT Sensor CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
DETECTED CONDITION
POSSIBLE CAUSE

To read the flash code,with the EFI diagnostic
instrument
●
MAP & IAT Sensor circuit open orshort.
●
MAP & IAT Sensormalfunction.
●
ECUmalfunction.
INSPECTION
1)
Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF”position.
2)
Check theMAP & IAT Sensor coupler○1 for loose or poor contacts.
3)
If OK, then measure the MAP & IAT Sensorresistance.
4)
Disconnect the MAP & IAT Sensorcoupler.
5)
Measuretheresistancebetweentheterminals and .② ③
Tester knob indication : Resistance(㏀)
0.075 ~ 14.541 ㏀
[When Intake air
temperature is
-20 ~ 1℃ 20℃
