Reassemble and install
Reassemble the swingarm and rear shock
absorber inthe reverse order of disassembly. Pay
attention to the following points :
Install the rear flat fork shaft and tighten the
rear flat fork shaft nut⑥ according to the specified
torque.
Flat rear fork nut: 72 N · m (7.2 kg · m)
As in Fig.5.7.16
After assembling the shock absorber, tighten
the bolts and nuts ②、 up and down according to ③
the specified torque.
Shock absorber mounting bolts/nuts: 29
N · m (2.9 kg · m)
Note: Install the rear shock absorber with the
nozzle cap facing the right side of the vehicle.
As in Fig.5.7.17.
Install rear wheel and rear disc brake calipers.
After installing the rear wheel and rear flat fork,
the following adjustments should be made before
driving:
The tightness of a chain
Free travel of foot brake plate.
Tire pressure.
