Rear Fork Needle roller bearing
Place the ring into the needle roller bearing and
move it up and down to check for clearance.
If the clearance is too large, it needs to be
replaced with a new bearing.
As in Fig.5.7.11.
Note:
Removed needle roller bearings should be
replaced with new ones.
Rear fork
Check for damage.
If it is defective, replace it with a new one.As
in Fig.5.7.12.
The chain block
Check for damage and wear.
If it is defective, replace it with a new one.As
in Fig.5.7.13.
Rear fork shaft
Measure the yaw of the pivot with a
micrometer.
If the deflection exceeds the limit, it needs to
be replaced with a new one.
Tools: Micrometer (1/100 mm)
Magnetic rack
V-shaped block (100 mm)
Limit of use: 0.3 mm
As in Fig.5.7.14.
Rear shock absorber
Check nozzle, needle roller bearings, bolts
and replace if necessary.
Check the shock absorber for damage and
oil leakage.
If it is defective, replace it with a new one.As
in Fig.5.7.15.
Note:
Try not to disassemble rear shock absorbers
as reassembly requires expertise and tools.
