Checking the lubricating pressure of the
Power Shuttle clutches (forward and
reverse)
- These clutches are lubricated by a gear pump that is
independent from that used for the conventional
lubricating circuit.
- This pump has two additional spools which act as
valves and are fitted in the front cover of the Power
Shuttle. They thus lubricate the reverse position (see
chapter 5).
- The test is carried out with the assistance of another
operator seated at the tractor controls.
Check
- Connect a pressure gauge with a capacity of approx-
imately 11 bar to the diagnostics connector (1)
located at the front right of the gearbox (Fig. 15).
- Check P10 as indicated in the table.
