Forward operation kinematics (Fig. 5)
The movement of the synchromesh slider (3) to the
rear joins the pinion (5) with the shaft (19).
The pinion (1) is secured to the mainshaft (69) by
splines.
The constant meshing of pinions (5) and (1) allows
drive to be transmitted to the gearbox.
