13.5.2 Functions for a digital output
Click on the edit symbol to configure the function of a digital ouput.
To switch a digital output, the following actions are
available:

Off
•
On by Internetconnection
•
On by any VPN-connection
•
On by any active User-Cloudserver-connection
•
Off:
Select this setting if you do not want to evaluate the output for possible switching operations.

On by Internetconnection:
Select this setting if the digital output of the device is to be set to 1 in the event of an active Internet
connection.
For example, an active Internet connection can then be indicated by an LED connected at output.
•
On by any VPN-connection: Select this setting if the digital output of the device is to be set to 1 in the
event of an active VPN connection. For example, the connection to the portal can then be indicated by
a lamp connected at output.
•
On by any active User-Cloudserver-connection:
Select this setting if the digital output of the device is to be set to 1 in the event of an active User-
Cloudserver-connection. For example, the connection to the portal can then be indicated by a lamp
connected at output.
NOTICE
Changes in the portal, which concern the device, will take effect after the Portal configuration has been
transferred to the device.
If the device configuration is out of date, this is indicated by a gray LED symbol before the device name
.
