12.7.1.1 Description - all devises
Description
Once you have added the new device, the actual configuration menu opens. Depending on the device type
selected, the input/drop-down fields may vary here.
Location
Enter your device's location here.
Contact
Enter your contact details here (e.g. a contact person
in the device's location).
Password
The VPN password is generated automatically.
Please note that this password is used for authenticat-
ing the device.
Each device absolutely must be given an individual
password!
Serial number
The device's serial number can be entered here. How-
ever, as soon as the device connects to the portal for
the first time, it is automatically entered.

For a better overview, enter a short description of the
device here.
Then go to the tab "Network"
