Shutdown
Use the following process to shutdown the reprocessor at the end of the day.
1. Clean the system by wiping down all surfaces with a non-scouring cleansing agent. Use a lime
dissolving, non-scouring agent for the rinse basin and inside the lids. Use soap and water to clean the
rubber gaskets.
WARNING Avoid possible chemical burns. Always wear personal protective equipment (gloves,
goggles) when handling disinfectant and/or detergent.
2. Check the detergent and alcohol reservoirs for appropriate levels. Rell them if necessary.
3. Clean the detergent cap, bracket and reservoir. Flush the reservoir thoroughly with hot water. Rell the
detergent reservoir, if necessary.
4. Close the incoming water line shutoff valve (unless either a delayed start program, water-line disinfect
or endoscope reprocessing cycle is to be run).
