Exchange the flushing filter
If a Flushing Filter Exchange Message Appears
The flushing filter needs to be replaced periodically.
Replace the flushing filter when a replacement message such as shown below appears.

When it is time to replace the flushing filter, the
message on the right will appear.

Press the key.
• The carriage will move, then the message on the right will appear.

Excahange the flushing filter, and then press the
key.
• The carriage will return to the station, and the mode will
return to LOCAL.
Tools required for

• Cleaning liquid for maintenance (SPC-0568)
• Waste cloth • Gloves • Goggles
• Be sure to wear the supplied goggles and gloves when exchanging theflushing filter. Since the ink is
absorbed in the Flushing filter, you may get ink in your eyes.
