1.2 System Configuration
Use RIP software to prepare jobs (RIP data) from print data created in applications such as Illustrator or
Photoshop.
Jobs prepared this way are printed using the MPC (Mimaki Printer Controller) application installed on the
machine (control PC). "Settings (MPC)"(P. 95)

• The control PC is connected to the machine with a LAN cable. Never disconnect the LAN cables
connected to the machine, as shown in the red frames below.
