4 Optimizing the Image
This chapter introduces how to optimizing the image by adjusting the image parameters.
Before optimizing the image by adjusting the image parameters, use the brightness and contrast
knob to adjust the monitor to the best functional mode.
The image parameters area is as follows:
Type of
Transducer
Frequency Depth
Mark of
Freezing
B Gain M Gain
Power Process Rate
Acoustic B Image Frame
4.1 Basic Operations
Objectives Available Operations
To increase the brightness.
Increase the gain.
Increase the acoustic power (do try to adjust gain
first before increasing acoustic power).
To make the brightness
distribute uniformly.
Adjust TGC (Time Gain Compensation).
To enhance the contrast. Decrease the Dyn Rng (Dynamic Range).
To observe deeper objectives. Increase the depth.
To observe shallower objectives. Decrease the depth.
To increase the frame rate.
Decrease the angle.
Decrease the depth.
Decrease the number of focuses.
Select “Hi Frm Rate” in “Scan Mode”.
