To delete a file/directory:
1. Select a driver.
2. Select the path.
3. Select the file/directory to be deleted and click [Delete].
4. Click [OK] to confirm deleting, or click [Cancel] to cancel.
To rename a file/directory:
1. Select a driver.
2. Select the path.
3. Select the file/directory to be renamed and click [Copy].
4. Input the new name of the file/directory.
5. Click [OK] to confirm or click [Cancel] to cancel.
To copy a file/directory:
1. Select the path of the source file/directory.
2. Select the file/directory to be copied and click [Copy].
3. Select the path of the destination file/directory.
4. Click [Paste].
5. If the file/directory to be pasted already exists, a dialog box pops up. Click [OK] to confirm
overwriting, or click [Cancel] to cancel copying.
7.4 Backup
This function is only applicable for systems with optical disc drive. Types of disc supported by the
system are: CD-RW, DVD+R and DVD+RW.
Note: 1. When inserting a new disc into the optical disc drive, if the “File Manager” or
“Backup” dialog box is open, please close the “File Manager” or “Backup” dialog
box and reopen it to check the files or remained space in the disc.
2. Appending record (appending data to optical disc with data) is not supported by the
system. To record data to optical disc with data, you need to erase the disc first.
(1) For DVD+RW disc with data, the system will prompt and erase the optical disc
before recording.
(2) For CD-RW disc with data, you need to erase the disc before selecting data to
record.
3. Inserting damaged disc into the optical disc drive will cause the system fail to
respond for a long time.
4. Data transfer between the optical disc drive and USB storage device is not
supported, including copying data from optical disc to USB storage device and
recording data from USB storage device to optical disc.
7.4.1 Backup of Data
1. Insert an optical disc with available space into the optical disc drive.
2. To open the file manager:
(1) Press <Freeze> to freeze the image.
(2) Press <Menu> to open the freeze menu.
(3) Click [File Manager] to open the file manager.
