IP
Description IP is the combination of “Dyn Rng (Dynamic Range)”, “Image Enhance” and
“Frame Avg (Frame Average)”. The parameters can be configured separately.
Operations Press <▲> and <▼> corresponding to “IP” to adjust IP.
Effects The effect is relative with the parameters.
Impacts The adjustment to IP will influence the cine review.

IP cannot be adjusted when the image is frozen.
B/M Post Process
Map
Description “Effect” of post process is the combination of “Grey Curve”, “Grey Rejection” and
“γ”. The system provides 8 effects, the parameters of which can be preset.
Operations Press <Menu> to open B Img Menu, and move cursor to [Post Process]Æ[Effect
(value)]. Then press <Set> or <Back> to select the effect.
Effects Depends on the preset parameters.
Impacts The adjustment to “Effect” will not influence the cine review.

Effect can be adjusted when the image is frozen.
Curve
Description “Grey Curve” is used to enhance or reject signals of corresponding segment.
Operations 1. Click [Post Process]Æ[Grey Curve] of B or M image menu to open the “Grey
Curve” dialog box.
2. Move cursor to one of the nodes “·” and the cursor turns to “
”. Press
<Set>, and then move the node “·” to adjust the grey curve with the track
ball. The image changes with the curve.
3. At this moment,
z Press <Set> again to confirm moving the node “·” and the cursor turns
back to “
”. Repeat the procedures to adjust the next node, or
z Press <Back> to cancel moving the node “·” and the node restores to
the original position.
z Click [Linear] to reset the grey curve.
4. After the adjustment, click [OK] to confirm and exit or click [Cancel] to cancel
and exit.
Effects Enhance signals of one grey segment and the corresponding part of the image
becomes brighter. Reject signals of one grey segment and the corresponding part
of the image becomes darker.
Adjusting one node will also influence shape of adjacent segments.
Impacts The adjustment will not influence the cine review.
