Installing the MX-DoorMaster
Version 3: Self-Locking Electronic Door Lock Including UPS via Battery Pack
In this connection option, the MX-DoorMaster’s battery pack powers the system in the event
of a power failure and allows the door to be opened without a key. In this case however,
the protection must be controlled using an additional switch (to be ordered separately).
In the following diagram, for example, the protection is used together with a power supply
for the electronic lock. The modules can then be released by pressing the switch.
Note
The the protection must be disconnected from the voltage again aer no longer
than ve minutes (in the example switch ‘S’ is o) in order to avoid an overload.
