Introduction
This chapter provides Scanner Emulation host information for setting up the scanner. This mode is used whenever
Scanner Emulation communication is needed. When Scanner Emulation is used, the scanner attaches either to an
external decoder or to a decoder integrated in a portable terminal or Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal.
Throughout the programming bar code menus, default values are indicated with asterisks (
*).
