MISTING
PROGRAM – MISTING (MENU 7.4)
The Misting process in the Greenhouse should provide the ability to increase the Humidity
or VPD* (vapor pressure deficit) and cool down the greenhouse zone temperature. The
Misting program controls the misting valves by pulse base and pause time, with automatic
adjustment according to desired value.
Define one misting pump per zone, or one misting pump for all the four zones, and it is
possible to divide up to 6 periods.

*VPD is the difference (deficit) between the amount of moisture in the air and how much moisture the air can hold when it is saturated. Once air becomes
saturated water will condense out to form clouds, dew or films of water over leaves.
