In cases where the video module is not co-located with its video source the following video cable
types are recommended to bridge the distance between video sources and the video module:
1. 75-ohm Coaxial cable - RG11 for cable lengths > 30m
a. Reference: FLAMEX RG11AU
b. Type: Marine Grade – Low Smoke, Halogen Free, Fire Retardant
c. Approval: ABS, BV, DNV, GL, LRS or RINA
2. 75-ohm Coaxial cable – RG6 for cable lengths < 30m
a. Reference: FLAMEX RG11AU
b. Type: Marine Grade – Low Smoke, Halogen Free, Fire Retardant
c. Approval: ABS, BV, DNV, GL, LRS or RINA
3. 75-ohm Coaxial cable – RG-59 for cable lengths < 10m
The above cables must be converted to a 15-Pin Male VGA Plug at the Video Module end using
a manufactured BNC to VGA cable assembly and possibly BNC F/F Unions to connect to the
Video Module input.
