Grab (One

and/or pads.
Replace lining and/or pads.
Lining charred. If mild, sand. If severe, replace.
Lining loose on shoe. Replace.
Loose wheel bearings. Adjust bearings.
Defective wheel bearing. Replace bearings.
Loose brake backing plate. Torque fasteners.
Defective drum. Turn both drums.
Sand or dirt in brake shoe
assembly.
Disassemble and clean. Repair as
required.
Wrong lining type or size. Install correct lining.
Primary and secondary linings
or shoes reversed.
Install correctly.
Loose caliper. Torque fasteners.
Defective power booster. Repair or replace.
