3.7 TRANSMISSION AND TORQUE CONVERTER INSTALLATION
1. Tighten converter drain plug to 18-28 ft-lbs.

3. With converter properly installed, place transmission on jack. Secure
transmission to jack with chain and place under tractor.
4. Raise transmission to align with engine.
NOTE
6. Install the crankshaft adapter (1) to the engine crankshaft.
7. Bolt the (2) to the crankshaft adapter.
8. Bolt the torque converter adapter (4) to the transmission.
align the two housings properly by use of the locating dowel pins. Tighten bolts.
NOTICE! The engine and transmission must be assembled to each other before
bolting the engine to the torque converter adapter.
10. Working through the access opening in the engine bell housing, bolt the (2) to
blue loctite and torque to 101-105 ft-lbs

30 NM + 60° + 90°.

14. Remove transmission jack safety chain from around transmission.
15. Position transmission support cross member to frame side rails and tighten
